We at Berean Academy do not attempt to “parent parents.” We recognize that parenting is one of the most challenging roles any of us will ever have, and it would be arrogant for us to think we have all the answers parents need. For me, it seemed like I had all the answers regarding parenting before I had children of my own. Now, I wish I was half as wise as I thought I was in my days as a young adult with no children.
Today, I read “Simple Strategies for Effective Discipline” by Dr. Kevin Leman. I encourage parents to read and consider Dr. Leman’s suggestions. They may or may not make a significant impact in your home or on your outlook concerning discipline, but I think it will cause any reader to pause for reflection.
The more we work together for good of our children and students, the greater the positive impact we will have on them. Visit this blog now and then to see more thoughts concerning parenting, education, spiritual challenges, and Berean Academy-related communication.
