Berean Academy seniors were scheduled to have their commencement ceremony next Friday (May 15). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hamilton County Health Department is not permitting us to host this event on that date. The health department is evaluating data concerning the virus and has not communicated a timetable for making a decision to begin allowing group events like high school graduations.

Despite uncertainties, we have rescheduled our high school commencement ceremony for Friday, June 12. Our plan is to have it in the school gymnasium at 7:30 PM. We will comply with governmental guidelines which will likely include limiting the number of guests and establishing specific social distancing procedures.

If we are not allowed to host high school graduation on June 12, we will develop alternative plans and communicate those plans to our school families.

Wednesday, May 13, is our seniors’ last day of classes. Early next week, we will communicate concerning when they may return textbooks, sports uniforms, etc. to school and retrieve any personal items from their lockers.
