Mr. Harmon

The following procedures have been developed to close out the school year in a safe manner.

Elementary (Kindergarten through 5th Grade)

Parents are encouraged to bring their elementary-aged children to school on Friday, May 22, to return school-owned items such as textbooks, library books, sports uniforms, etc., and to receive any year-end awards. To maintain social distancing, parents and students will remain inside their vehicles and follow a circular route on the upper parking lot.

Children’s teachers will greet the families as they drive to the reception location and exchange any materials through the vehicles’ windows. Teachers are planning to make this an enjoyable event with decorations and photo opportunities (weather permitting). There’s a possibility that the Eagle might make an appearance, too!

Times for participating in this end-of-year activity are listed below.

  • 9 AM to 11 AM: Kindergarteners – 2nd Graders
  • 11 AM to 12 PM: Kindergarteners – 2nd Graders and their siblings in grades 3-5
  • 12 PM to 2 PM: 3rd – 5th Graders who do not have siblings in lower elementary grades

Middle School & High School

Secondary students are invited to come to campus on Friday, May 22, between 2:30 PM and 7 PM or on Tuesday, May 26, from 9 AM to 11 AM. Students are to return any school-owned items such as textbooks, library books, sports uniforms, etc. Students will receive any year-end awards upon their arrival.

Since many secondary students will need to retrieve personal items from their lockers, they may enter the school through the main gym doors. Staff members will escort students to their lockers to allow students to retrieve the belongings. Social distancing will be observed.
